Jason L. Hargadon >>
Mr. Hargadon is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville School of Law, after which he served as a clerk to the Hon. Judge Joseph R. Huddleston on the Kentucky Court of Appeals. Since entering private practice, Jason’s practice has been focused almost exclusively on securities litigation and commercial litigation.
Mr. Hargadon defended a number of directors and officers of a large company in a 14 week trial in the Southern District of New York concerning allegations of securities fraud in excess of $450 million. Jason also successfully defended the CEO of a publicly traded cable company in a securities fraud action in the Federal District Court for the District of Delaware. Recently, Mr. Hargadon obtained a $44 million judgment on behalf of the shareholders of a horseracing track for breach of fiduciary duty in a Kentucky state court.
Mr. Hargadon has previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Business and Corporate Law at Western Kentucky University.
